My name is Britney Binkowski and I am a psychotherapist working with adults and couples in Mississauga and Niagara Falls, ON.

Life can be tough.   

Especially due to this new situation we have all found ourselves in. 

A strange new world, without our familiar routines to lean on.

With increased stresses and big unknowns.

Scary stuff for many, perhaps compounded on top of what you were dealing with before this all happened.

Life is complicated at times and we can experience problems that are too difficult to handle alone. Psychotherapy is a useful tool that can help you address the challenges you face, gain new insights and become more comfortable and confident with yourself, your emotions and the people around you.  Even in times like these where it might feel all overwhelming.  Therapy can be a place to let your feelings out.

As the therapist my job is to listen, not to judge. I bring to the session my honesty, compassion and humour along with a fresh perspective.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation because often deciding to contact a therapist can be the hardest part of the process and finding a therapist who is a good fit for you is important. This meeting is an opportunity to ask any questions you might have, to discuss what is going on for you and also to assess how well we might work with one another.

Due to Covid-19 safety concerns, many sessions are still conducted by either virtual video or phone sessions.  It is surprising how much contact can be made - all you need is a quite spot. 

I have had clients go for a walk while we talk, or sit in their cars if there residences are busy. I will also try to accomodate in person if needed
